Requirements to Rent a Vehicle
To rent a car at Brindisi Airport, you must meet the following general requirements:
- Driving licence: Citizens of the European Union may use their valid licence. Travellers from non-EU countries generally require an International Driving Permit together with their national licence.
- Minimum age: Most agencies require drivers to be at least 21 years old. Drivers under the age of 25 are usually subject to an additional “young driver” surcharge.
- Credit card: A credit card (not a debit card) in the name of the main driver is required to secure the security deposit.
- Identification: A valid passport or national identity document.
