Urban and Intercity Buses

Alicante Airport has several bus routes connecting with Alicante, Elche, and other nearby towns. The stops are located on the Departures road.

Connections with Alicante and Elche

• Line C6 (Alicante-Airport): Connects the terminal building with Alicante city centre and several strategic points (Railway Station, Alfonso X El Sabio, Luceros, Puerta del Mar). At Alfonso X El Sabio and Luceros stops, it connects with the TRAM Metropolitan network. Operates every day of the year, with a frequency of 20 minutes (with variations at night) and a journey time of 20-30 minutes. The fare is €4.60.

• Line R11 (Elche-Airport): Links the airport with Elche, with stops at the business park and Torrellano.

Train - TRAM

The airport does not have a direct train service. The connection with the metropolitan train and tram network (TRAM d'Alacant) is made via the C6 urban bus line to the Luceros or Mercado stations, both located in the centre of Alicante. From these stations, the following TRAM lines operate (service from 6:00 am to 12:00 midnight):

• Line 1: To Benidorm.
• Line 2: To Sant Vicent del Raspeig.
• Line 3: To El Campello.
• Line 4: To Cabo Huertas and Plaza La Coruña.

VTC (Chauffeured Vehicles)

VTC services such as Uber and Cabify are available at the airport. Passenger pick-up takes place in the designated area in front of the Arrivals Hall, on Level 0.

Taxis

The airport’s official taxi service is assigned to Radio Taxi Elche and Servitaxi Elche. The vehicles are identified by a green stripe and the Elche coat of arms. Radio Taxi Elche has an information desk in the Arrivals Hall, open from 9:00 am to 1:00 am.

Fares include a surcharge of €4.25 for airport services. At night (from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am), on Sundays and public holidays, special fares apply.

• Elche: Approximately 20-25 minutes.
