Ground transportation options

Bus

Line 501 from CTAZ (Tel +34 876 507 945) links the enclosure with P.M. Agustí­n, in downtown Zaragoza, with intermediate stops at Plaza Imperial and the Intermodal Station. Journey time is 45 minutes and tickets cost €1.85. It operates with a frequency of 30 min. between 6:15 am and 11:15 pm (every hour on Sundays and holidays).

ALSA (Tel +34 902 422 242) provides services every day to Tudela (€8.20); Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays to Pamplona (€17.35); and Sundays to San Sebastián (€25.70). Schedules are adapted to flight departures and arrivals.

Taxi

Radio Taxi Aragón (Tel +34 976 383 838), Radio Taxi Cooperativa (Tel +34 976 757 575) and Radio Taxi Zaragoza (Tel +34 976 424 242) have vehicles outside the Arrivals area. The minimum fare is €2.00 and the exit from the airport has an extra of €5.70. Prices are higher through the night (10:00 pm to 7:00 am), on weekends and on holidays. The trip to the city centre takes around 20 minutes.

Tips for getting to and from ZAZ

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Zaragoza airport is 10 km from Zaragoza. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
  2. On public transportation, check the schedule (weekends and holidays usually have fewer services), whether you need to change lines and how to pay: transit card, contactless or cash.
  3. If you booked a shared shuttle, keep the company's phone number at hand in case the pickup is late.
  4. Returning a rental car? Follow the signs to the rental car return area. If you drive your own car, check parking at ZAZ.

Leaving the airport

  1. After baggage claim and customs, follow the ground transportation signs. The arrivals page has a step-by-step guide.
  2. Arriving late at night? Not every bus or train runs 24 hours: check the last departure in advance. Ride-hailing apps usually pick up at a designated zone, not at the curb.
  3. With a private transfer, the driver usually waits in the arrivals hall with a sign with your name.
