Fredericton (YFC) airport

The terminal building opens 90 minutes prior to the first scheduled flight departure of the day and closes following the arrival and baggage delivery of the final scheduled flight at night. It is not open 24 hours.

No. Passengers cannot stay overnight inside the terminal building as it closes every night after the final flight. Travelers with early departures or layovers should book a room at one of the hotels located in nearby Lincoln, Waasis, Oromocto, or downtown Fredericton.

Neither Uber nor Lyft operates in Fredericton or New Brunswick. For app-based rides, travelers can use the Canadian rideshare app Uride, or hail licensed on-demand taxis operated by Checker Cab outside the arrivals area.

No. Fredericton Transit does not operate regular city bus routes to the airport. Ground transportation options are limited to taxis, pre-booked regional coach service via Maritime Bus (advance notice required), hotel shuttles, and rental cars.

Short-term parking is free for up to 2 hours. Long-term parking costs CAD 3.00 for the first 2 hours, CAD 3.00 per additional hour, CAD 15.00 per day, or CAD 75.00 per week. Payments must be made by credit/debit card or via the HotSpot mobile app.

Fredericton Airport does not currently offer VIP airport lounges or airline club lounges (such as Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges or Priority Pass facilities). However, the newly upgraded departures hall features comfortable seating, power outlets at every seat, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a café and bar.
