Bus

LINEcar (Tel +34 983 230 033) operates a service that connects the airport with downtown Valladolid and other main locations, such as Villanubla, Feria de Muestras, Plaza Poniente and the bus and train stations, with a frequency of 90 minutes. Journey time is around 30 min. and the fare is €3.75. It runs Mondays through Fridays between 8:45 am and 8:00 pm, weekdays from 9:45 am to 7:00 pm.

On the other hand, ALSA (Tel +34 902 422 242) provides transportation several times a day to the city of León (€10.90; 1 hour and 45 min.) and to Madrid, connecting with Terminal 4 of Madrid-Barajas airport (€16.91; 3 hours). These services only stop at Valladolid airport if the passengers have acquired the tickets in advance from the automatic machine located opposite the check-in counters, by phone or through the company's website.

Cabs from Radio-Taxi Valladolid (Tel +34 983 207 755 / 291 411) are available outside the terminal. The trip to the city has a fixed fare of €22.00 during the day and of €24.00 at night (11:00 pm to 7:00 am) and takes 20 minutes.

Tips for getting to and from VLL

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Valladolid airport is 10 km from Valladolid. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
  2. On public transportation, check the schedule (weekends and holidays usually have fewer services), whether you need to change lines and how to pay: transit card, contactless or cash.
  3. If you booked a shared shuttle, keep the company's phone number at hand in case the pickup is late.
