Requirements to Rent a Vehicle

To rent a car at Vnukovo Airport, you will generally need to meet the following basic requirements:

• Identity Document: A valid passport and, in the case of foreign citizens, the corresponding entry visa or migration card.
• Driving Licence: A valid driving licence held for at least 2 years. It is recommended to carry an International Driving Permit (IDP), especially if your original licence is not written in the Cyrillic alphabet.
• Minimum Age: You are generally required to be at least 21 years old, although for luxury vehicle categories the minimum age may increase to 25.
• Deposit Guarantee: A credit card in the name of the main driver is required for the security deposit hold. Check with the company whether they accept cards issued outside Russia, as due to sanctions many international cards (Visa/Mastercard) do not operate in local payment terminals.
