Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.
Spending the night at the airport
Timisoara airport is connected to many European cities and is open 24 hours a day.
Where to rest: The enclosure does not have many amenities, so it is probable that you will have to sleep on the floor, although there are a few benches without armrests in the International Arrivals Hall. Have a sleeping bag or blankets for a better rest. Another option is to use one of the airport's VIP lounges, although these close at night. If the passenger finally decides to go to a hotel, there are several nearby, and some of them offer shuttle services.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices. This means you will have to keep your bags with you until check-in.
Eating and drinking: Other than vending machines, you will not find options open during the night.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing rooms.
There are no hotels inside the grounds. Some options nearby have transfer services.
