Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (SCQ)

Possibility to spend the night at Santiago de Compostela airport (SCQ), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.

Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.

Spending the night at the airport

The last leg of The Way of Saint James runs through the airport surroundings, so it is common to see many passengers waiting for their flight departure inside the terminal, even at night. Where to rest: It is generally a quiet place to spend the night. Outside the check-in area you can find a dimmer place and seats with no armrests, ideal to catch some sleep. There is a VIP lounge in the boarding hall with more amenities, but it closes at night. Near the enclosure there are also several hotels, which you can easily reach through the public transport or by arranging a transfer with them.

Baggage: Left luggage service in the Departures Hall, from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Eating and drinking: Shops close at night, so have some refreshments ready in advance.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.

Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play areas.
