International travel to Ireland is allowed. You need to meet the requirements to ensure entry is allowed.
If another country has been visited in the previous 14 days which is considered a 'scheduled state', travelers will not be allowed to enter. There are exemptions for Irish residents, EU citizens and UK citizens who will undergo further testing and quarantine requirements regardless of vaccination status. Full details can be found HERE
Travelers presenting a valid international certificate of complete vaccination against COVID-19, using an approved vaccine, must present proof of a negative antigen test, taken within 48 hours of arrival. This would replace the requirement to provide a PCR test. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior to departure. Full details and approved vaccine list can be found HERE
Travelers can provide their EU digital certificate on paper or digitally as proof of vaccination, negative test result or prior recovery. Health documents provided in this way will not require additional verification on arrival. Full details on the EU digital certificate, including how EU residents can access their certificate, can be found HERE
Upon arrival, proof of a negative RT-PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be presented. This may also be necessary before boarding the flight. Alternatively, vaccinated travelers or those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 may have a negative antigen test instead, taken within 48 hours of arrival. Recovered travelers must present their negative antigen test along with proof of a positive PCR test, taken at least 11 days prior to arrival and no more than 180 days.
An online 'Public Health Passenger Locator Form' must also be completed prior to arrival.
