Covid-19: Regulations for travel to Fiji

International travel to Fiji is permitted for vaccinated permit holders, citizens and residents. You need to meet the requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Other restrictions

Proof of travel insurance with international COVID-19 coverage is required. Travelers must also download the careFIJI app and keep Bluetooth turned on during their stay.

Mandatory vaccination

Quarantine is in effect upon arrival

Travelers must be quarantined by 10am upon arrival at an approved government facility. An approved hotel must be reserved prior to travel and prepaid proof of accommodation must be presented upon departure. You can find a list of approved hotels at

It is mandatory to submit medical certificate / proof

Travelers must provide proof of a negative RT-PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours. Instead, travelers can provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 within 90 days of departure. This will require proof of the completed isolation period from a trusted institution or a certificate of fitness to fly from a healthcare provider.

Test is done upon arrival

A rapid test will be administered on arrival.

Always remember to check with your airline, your itinerary and requirements at the time of boarding, to comply with the protocol and restrictions according to the destination you are going to.

 Tips before departing

  Make sure you arrive at Nadi airport (NAN) at least 3 hours before the flight if it is an international flight or 2 if it is a domestic one.
