Malta Airport offers exclusive spaces designed for rest and productivity, operated under the La Valette Club brand. Both lounges operate 24 hours a day and provide a refined environment away from the bustle of public areas.

La Valette Club

Located on Level 3 (Airside), after passing through security control and the commercial area. This lounge features a spacious outdoor terrace with views of the apron and runway, which is one of its main highlights.

  • Services: Snack and refreshment buffet, selection of wines, beers and spirits, high-speed Wi-Fi, workstations with computers, international newspapers, television, and a dedicated smoking area on the terrace.
  • Maximum stay: 3 hours.
  • Access: Members of Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass or Diners Club. Access is also available to business class passengers of selected airlines, by prior reservation on the official website or by paying at the entrance (€45.00).

VIP Lounge (Arrivals)

Situated in the arrivals area, next to the baggage reclaim zone. It is ideal for waiting for transfers or resting immediately after landing.

  • Services: Light snacks, hot and cold drinks, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating areas and reading material.
  • Maximum stay: 3 hours.
  • Access: Members of Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass or Diners Club. Access is also available via pay-at-the-door entry or online reservation.

Note: Access is subject to space availability. A smart casual dress code is recommended to enter these facilities.

The airport offers a comprehensive infrastructure to meet travellers’ needs, ranging from financial services to modern workspaces located nearby.

Finance and Connectivity

The terminal is equipped with cash machines from the main local banks (HSBC, BOV), distributed throughout the departures and arrivals areas. To stay connected, the airport provides free and unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the terminal. In addition, the adjacent SkyParks Business Centre building offers first-class conference facilities and meeting rooms.

Dining

The dining offer is varied, with the food court on Level -1 (public area) standing out, featuring fast food options, cafés and bars. In the departure area, you will also find sit-down restaurants and snack outlets.

  • 24-Hour Options: Several venues such as Tat-Te (arrivals), Relish (departures) and the food court usually maintain continuous or extended operating hours to accommodate passengers on overnight flights.

Shopping and Duty Free

In the departures area beyond security control, there is a large Duty Free zone offering fragrances, spirits and tobacco. The retail selection includes fashion boutiques, jewellery stores, electronics and local souvenirs. A convenience store for last-minute purchases is located in the SkyParks building.

Baggage Services

  • Luggage Wrapping: Plastic wrapping services are available in the departures hall, operating during peak flight times.
  • Luggage Storage: Available 24 hours a day at the customer service desk in the check-in hall.
  • Lost Property: To claim items lost within the terminal, passengers must complete the airport’s official online form.

Other Services

The airport also features a multi-faith chapel, a pharmacy, baby care rooms and mobile device charging areas distributed throughout the departure zone.
