Diego Aracena Aguilar International Airport, opened in 1973, is one of the busiest and most modern in Chile and serves the I Region of Tarapacá, to the north of the country. In addition to domestic flights, it operates with some international destinations in Bolivia, Paraguay and Argentina.

Bus - Outside the Arrivals Hall there are door-to-door mini-buses from Transfer Intipaka (Tel +56 57 243 4300) and Transfer Manquehue (Tel +56 57 231 1184), which travel from the airport to different destinations inside the city.
On the second level, on the other hand, you can board services from Turbus (Tel +56 2 2822 7500 / 600 660 6600) to Iquique.
Taxi - Vehicles available outside the Arrivals area provided by Taxis Tarapacá (Tel +56 57 241 9004 / 5916) and Taxis Aeropuerto Diego Aracena (Tel +56 57 241 3368). The trip to the city centre takes 35 minutes.
There are car rental desks on the first level of the terminal, outside the Arrivals Hall.
