Girona Costa Brava airport (GRO)

Girona-Costa Brava Airport, opened on March 3, 1967, is an important airstation in Catalonia and serves the entire Costa Brava, extending for nearly 200 km to the French border. It also serves as an alternative to Barcelona airport. It operates with international flights to several destinations in Europe.

The airport is situated 12 km (8 miles) southwest from Girona and 90 km (60 miles) northeast from Barcelona.
