Bus

DKV (Tel +36 5250 2640) operates lines Airport 1 & 2 between 4:00 am and 11:00 pm to the city's main station (Nagyállomás), via Kossuth Tér, Kálvin Tér, Bem Tér, Simonyi Út, Pallagi Út and Nagyerdei Körút. Travel time is about 20 minutes. Further information

Taxi

Companies authorised to operate outside the terminal are City Taxi (Tel +36 5255 5555) and Fönix Taxi (Tel +36 5244 4444), both of which have vehicles for 5 to 8 passengers. Trips to destinations within the city have fixed fares. The journey to the city centre takes 15 minutes.

Tips for getting to and from DEB

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Debrecen airport is 3 km from Debrecen. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
  2. On public transportation, check the schedule (weekends and holidays usually have fewer services), whether you need to change lines and how to pay: transit card, contactless or cash.
  3. If you booked a shared shuttle, keep the company's phone number at hand in case the pickup is late.

Leaving the airport
