Spending the night at the airport

Although Charles de Gaulle airport is not one of the best places to spend the night, at least those passengers with a connecting flight or an early morning departure flight will be able to do so without any problems.

Where to rest: Terminal 2E is the most comfortable and secure. In front of gate L and next to gates K21, K30, K33 and K51, you can find comfortable chairs to sleep on. Terminal 2A is another popular choice for those who want to spend the night inside the enclosure. It is always advisable to have an eye mask handy, and if you have to lie on the floor, blankets or a sleeping bag, as it tends to be cold.

For those passengers who are stranded at the airport due to a delayed flight due to inclement weather or other phenomena such as strikes, etc., mattresses are available and should be requested from an airport employee.

For those who can afford a hotel, there are different options on the premises. Another alternative (by paying or using a credit card that provides the service) is to use one of the VIP lounges, where you have access to more comfort and privacy. The only problem is that they tend to close at night.

Baggage: As the luggage storage closes from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, you will have to stay all night with your bags on your back, which makes it very uncomfortable, but there are no alternatives.

Eating and drinking: There are no bars or restaurants open 24 hours a day. Therefore, passengers are only provided with vending machines. If your flight departs at 6:00 am, it is advisable to have snacks prepared in advance. Those with connecting flights will only have vending machines.

Restrooms: Showers only in the VIP lounges and inside the hotel in Terminal 2.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited internet access is available, but with a stronger signal in Terminal 2F. For greater range and speed, hourly plans are available for a fee. There are also power outlets and USB ports for charging mobile devices.

Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play areas, baby changing facilities, games, medical clinic.
