Spending the night at the airport

Although Charles de Gaulle airport is not the most suitable for overnight stays, at least passengers with a connecting or early morning flight will be able to remain inside without any problems. Terminal 2E is the most comfortable and safe. Opposite gate L and next to gates K21, K30, K33 and K51 you can find comfortable couches where you can sleep. Terminal 2A is another of the most chosen by those who want to spend the night inside the enclosure. It is always advisable to have an eye mask on hand, and if you have to lay down on the floor, blankets or a sleeping bag, as it is usually cold. For passengers who are stuck at the airport due to a delayed flight because of inclement weather or some other issue such as a strike, etc., mattresses are available, which you must request from an airport employee. For those who can afford a hotel, there are different options inside the grounds. Another alternative (by paying or through a credit card that offers the service) is to use one of the VIP lounges (temporarily closed), where you can get access to more amenities and privacy. The only problem is that they usually close at night.

Baggage: As the left-luggage service closes from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, you will have to keep your bags with you through the night, which makes it very uncomfortable, but there are no alternatives.

Eating and drinking: No bars nor restaurants are open 24 hours a day. Therefore, passengers can only count on the vending machines. If your flight departs at 6:00 am, it is advisable to have refreshments ready in advance. Those with connecting flights can only resort to vending machines.

Restrooms: Showers only in the VIP lounges and inside the hotel in Terminal 2.

Wi-Fi: There is free and unlimited internet access, with a stronger signal in Terminal 2F. For more reach and speed, there are paid hourly plans. There are also AC power plugs and USB ports to recharge mobile devices.

Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play areas, baby changing facilities, games, medical clinic.
