Stockholm Bromma Airport offers various transport options that allow you to reach the city centre of the Swedish capital in approximately 15 to 20 minutes, standing out for its excellent connectivity with the local public transport network.
Trams
The light rail or tram Tvärbanan (Line 31), operated by SL (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik), has a dedicated station called "Bromma flygplats", located to the left of the terminal exit. This service operates approximately between 5:30 am and 11:30 pm. It allows strategic connections at Alvik station (to transfer to the green Metro line) and at Solna station (to connect with commuter trains or pendeltåg). You can pay your fare directly with a contactless bank card, via the SL app, or by using the SL Green Card.
Taxis
The taxi rank is located just outside the terminal. In line with the airport’s environmental policy, only eco-friendly taxis that have an agreement with Swedavia operate at the rank. There is coordination staff at the rank to assist passengers.
Prices and fares: In Sweden, the taxi market is deregulated, so each company sets its own fares. All companies must display in the vehicle the comparative price of a standard journey in black numbers on a yellow background.
Accessibility: It is possible to request adapted taxis for passengers with reduced mobility. If you hold a Stockholm accessible transport card (Färdtjänst), book through that service. Otherwise, contact the staff at the taxi rank, who will arrange a suitable vehicle.
Ride-hailing apps
The Uber app operates in Stockholm and allows you to request journeys to or from the airport. The designated pick-up point is usually located in the taxi rank area; check the exact location in the app when requesting the service. An active internet connection on your mobile device is required.
