The airport is situated approximately 12 km from downtown. Travel time by road usually ranges between 20 and 35 minutes depending on the chosen mode of transport.

Public Buses

Line 520 (operated by SAPEM Bahía Blanca) links downtown (stopping on Lamadrid St. 200) with Comandante Espora Airport. Fares are paid exclusively with the SUBE contactless card, and the estimated travel time is between 30 and 45 minutes.

Minibuses and Door-to-Door Transfers

AM Viajes provides van shuttles between the airport terminal and the city center (Hotel Muñiz), along with door-to-door services within designated city areas. Intercity vans and transfers also operate to regional beach destinations such as Monte Hermoso and Coronel Dorrego.

Taxis and Remises

Outside the terminal building, right in front of the main entrance, there is an official taxi and remise stand. The drive to the central area takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Local licensed companies providing coverage include:

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Bahí­a Blanca airport is 12 km from Bahí­a Blanca. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
