Requirements to hire a vehicle

To hire a car at Belgrade Airport, you will generally need to meet the following conditions:

Driving Licence: You must present a valid driving licence held for at least 1 or 2 years (depending on the company). If your licence is not in the Latin alphabet or not issued within the EU, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required.

Minimum Age: Most agencies require drivers to be at least 21 years old. Drivers under 25 are usually subject to an additional “young driver” fee.

Credit Card: A credit card in the name of the main driver is required for the security deposit (excess). Debit cards or cash are generally not accepted for this purpose.

Additional Documentation: A valid passport or identity document and the booking confirmation, either printed or digital.
