The general requirements usually requested by car hire companies are as follows:

Minimum Age: In general, the driver must be at least 21 years old. Some companies may require a minimum age of 23 or 25 for certain vehicle categories, or apply a young driver surcharge for those under 25.
Valid Driving Licence: A valid driving licence within the European Union is mandatory. For citizens of non-EU countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) together with the original driving licence from the country of origin may be required.
Credit Card: A credit card in the main driver’s name is required for the security deposit. Debit or prepaid cards are generally not accepted for this purpose.
Identity Document: A valid identity document, such as a passport or national ID card, is necessary to verify identity.
Confirmed Booking: It is advisable to have the booking confirmation at hand, either printed or in digital format.
