Lanzarote Airport, opened on July 24, 1941, is the third busiest in the Canary Islands, behind Gran Canaria and Tenerife Sur airports, and is one of the most important in Spain due to its tourist interest. It operates both with domestic and international flights to destinations inside Europe.

The airport has ATMs, postbox, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access. Conference rooms in several hotels in the vicinity. The Sala Guacimeta lounge is located in front of boarding gates 1 and 2 and opens from 6:00 am until the last scheduled flight; the maximum stay is 4 hours and it provides catering, press, TV, Wi-Fi, smoking area, air conditioning (access with Priority Pass, Lounge Club, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - €29.85).
Food and Drinks- Coffee shops, bars, restaurants and fast food outlets on both levels of Terminal 1. There is a café in the Departures area of Terminal 2.
Shopping- Duty-free shops, handicrafts, souvenirs, jewellery, cosmetics, fashion and accessories, toys, newsagents inside Terminal 1.
Baggage- Secure wrapping machine in the check-in area of Terminal 1. Lost and found office on the first floor of Terminal 1, in the Departures area (e-mail: email@example.com).

Bus - There are several services from Intercity Bus Lanzarote (Tel +34 928 811 522) that depart from in front of both terminals.
Line 22 goes to Arrecife in 10 minutes only from Monday to Friday. It operates every 25 min. between 7:00 am and 10:40 pm and the fare is €1.40. On the other hand, line 23 runs only on the weekends and holidays, every 50 min. from 7:10 am to 9:10 pm, and connects the airport with the capital and Playa Honda (€1.40).
Route 161 links the enclosure with the tourist areas of Puerto del Carmen (€1.40), Puerto Calero (€1.80), Yaiza (€1.90) and Playa Blanca (€3.30). The trip takes approximately 60 min. and buses operate from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm (8:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekends and holidays). Line 261 makes the same journey, only Mondays through Fridays.
Timetables and schedules
Taxi - Cabs are available outside the Arrivals Hall of both terminals. Avoid drivers offering their services outside those areas. The minimum fare is €3.15 and extra charges are applied for trips during the night (from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am), on Sundays and holidays. The trip to downtown Arrecife takes approximately 10 minutes. Facilities include access ramps, elevators, adapted toilets and telephones, and designated parking spaces. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should inform their airline about their needs at the moment of their booking. Unaccompanied minors will be escorted by the airline staff from the check-in process until their destination.
