Bus

Midttrafik (Tel +45 7021 0230) operates line 925X from the airport to Banegaardspladsen, in the city centre, with a trip of 45-50 minutes. Departure times are determined by flight arrivals.

Route 212 connects the enclosure with Randers and Ebeltoft, with stops at Slyngborg, Fausing, Auning, Pindstrup, Ryomgaard, Koed, Kolind, Maarup and Tirstrup. It departs Mondays through Fridays between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm.

Tips for getting to and from AAR

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Aarhus airport is 35.9 km from Aarhus. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
  2. On public transportation, check the schedule (weekends and holidays usually have fewer services), whether you need to change lines and how to pay: transit card, contactless or cash.
