- Airside (Post-Security): If you hold an onward boarding pass and clear security, Concourses A, B, and C offer cushioned benches and lower foot traffic. A popular quiet spot is the YYC Yoga Space near Gate A24, providing a quiet carpeted area with yoga mats. In Concourse E, armrest-free bench seating allows passengers to stretch out horizontally.
- Landside (Pre-Security): For travelers without boarding passes overnight, the quietest seating areas are located on the Arrivals level near Doors 16 and 17, where padded seating can be found.
24-Hour Dining and Services
On the Arrivals level of the Domestic Terminal (Door 11), the 7-Eleven store remains open 24 hours for fresh coffee, sandwiches, hot snacks, and personal essentials. Airside in Concourse A, select outlets including A&W and Tim Hortons maintain around-the-clock service.
Luggage Storage
The luggage storage and coat check facility in the International Terminal (between Doors 14 and 15) operates from 7:00 am to 12:00 am. No automated lockers are available during overnight hours, so travelers must keep their bags with them.
Shower Facilities
There are no free public showers in general terminal areas. Showers are located exclusively inside the WestJet Elevation Lounge and Aspire Lounges, both of which require paid access or eligible membership and close overnight between 8:30 pm / 10:15 pm and 4:30 am / 5:00 am.
Security, Temperature, and Tips
- Temperature: Terminal concourses can become cold overnight due to automatic ventilation. Warm clothing or a compact blanket is strongly advised.
- Security: Airport security personnel conduct regular rounds and may request to see your passport and flight itinerary to confirm your overnight stay.
- In-Terminal Lodging: For private and uninterrupted sleep, both the Delta Hotels and Marriott In-Terminal hotels are directly attached to the terminals.
