Hosea Kutako International Airport, opened in 1965, is the largest in Namibia and the only international airstation in the country. It operates with domestic destinations and international flights to several locations in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Bus - A service departs from outside the Departures Hall to the station located on Independence Avenue, in the city centre. There are also direct buses to Windhoek Eros Airport. Taxi - Ranks are situated outside the Arrivals Hall. Official cabs have a black rectangle with a number and can be paid for in advance. The trip to the city centre takes around 40 minutes.
Inside the grounds there are different lots for short- and long-term parking.
There are ramps, adapted toilets and wheelchairs free of charge. Passengers requiring special assistance should notify their travel agent or airline about their particular needs in advance.
