Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (VAR)

Possibility to spend the night at Varna airport (VAR), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.

Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.

Spending the night at the airport

Being small, Varna airport is usually pretty quiet at night, so it is a practical place where to spend the night if you have a flight early in the morning.

Where to rest: The terminal has some benches, although they are a bit uncomfortable. There is also a VIP lounge, although it closes at night and the maximum stay is 2 hours. In the surroundings there are hotels with shuttle services.

Baggage: There is no left-luggage office, so you will have to keep your baggage with you until check-in.

Eating and drinking: Available options close at night.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.

Other services available around the clock: Baby changing room, medical center, children's play area, shops (only during the summer).
