Spending the night at the airport

San Salvador airport is open 24 hours a day and is a safe place where to spend the night if you have a flight early in the morning and you do not want to go to a hotel.

Where to rest: The security staff will only allow you to remain in the main hall of the terminal. There are not many benches here, so it is recommended to have a sleeping bag in case you have to lay on the floor. In the boarding area, on the other hand, there are two VIP lounges with more amenities, but these are closed at night. Near the airport and in the beach area, you will find several hotels.

Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices inside the terminal.

Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close at night, but there are a few vending machines.

Restrooms: Inside the VIP lounges there are showers.

Wi-Fi: Free for 30 minutes.

Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities.
