Bus - KVT (Tel +370 880 020 000) operates lines 29 and 29E to the city centre and the bus and train stations. It leaves Mondays through Fridays between 4:40 am and 11:40 pm and weekends and holidays from 5:00 am to 11:40 pm. The fare is €1.00 and journey time is about 50 minutes.

The Kaunas Airport Express (Tel +370 6086 6360) connects the enclosure with the Hotel Panorama in Vilnius for €10.00. Schedules are coordinated with flight hours and the trip takes 1 hour and 30 min. It also runs to Kryzkalnis (€14.40) and the Akropolis shopping center, in Klaipeda, with a cost of €17.00 and a travel time of 3 hours.

The FlyBus service (Tel +371 2708 8719) departs once a day to the city of Riga, with intermediate stops in Panevezys and Bauska. Tickets have a cost of €20.00 and the trip takes 4 hours and 30 min.

In addition, there are daily services to Minsk (€17.00) provided by Ecolines (Tel +370 3720 2022), and transfers to the cities of Anyksciai, Birzai, Ignalina, Kupiskis, Marijampole, Moletai, Obeliai, Rokiskis, Sirvintos, Utena, Visaginas and Zarasai (Tel +370 3740 9060).

While there are issues that seem more than obvious, it is always advisable to take into account when moving from or to the airport, and especially if you go on some public transport.
 
 1- To the airport - It is convenient to go out with a little more anticipation than you would commonly suggest. If you choose a taxi or a private car service, always keep in mind peak transit times, demonstrations, strikes or events that may take more or less the trip to the airport from where you are. It is always good to be informed about what happens in the place where you find yourself.
If you have a shared transfer service, please have a contact Tel in case of any delay on the part of the company. In these cases, a scheduled collection schedule is already in tenter.
If you are using public transport (bus, train), have the schedules (weekends and holidays usually have fewer frequencies), if you have to transfer and also how to board (if you need a card or boarding pass or paying at the moment to the driver or rider).
