 Which are the Vip lounges at Helsinki Vantaa airport (HEL) and how to access:

Aspire Lounge - Located on the third floor of Terminal 2, across from gate 27, and open from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm (you can only enter 3 hours before flight departures). Showers, press, Wi-Fi, snacks, drinks, computers, TV, air conditioning, fax. Access: with Priority Pass, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door (€29.00).

Finnair Lounge - Two lounges situated next to gates 22 and 52 of Terminal 2, open from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm. Drinks, food, work and rest areas, newspapers, printers, plugs for electric devices, showers, sauna, Wi-Fi, children's playground. Access: with Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold or Silver membership, business class passengers from Finnair, first or business class passengers from Oneworld airlines, Emerald or Sapphire members, or by paying at the door (€48.00).

Plaza Premium Lounge - Next to gate 40 of Terminal 2. Operating hours: Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Maximum stay: 3 hours. Press, children's area, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, drinks, meals, TV. Access: with DragonPass membership or by paying at the door (€31.50).

SAS Lounge - Situated opposite gate 13 of Terminal 1 (closed temporarily). Wi-Fi, plugs for electric devices, newspapers and magazines, snacks, beverages. Access: with United Club, Air Canada Maple Leaf Club, EuroBonus Gold, Diamond or Silver membership, business class passengers from Scandinavian Airlines, first or business class passengers from Star Alliance airlines, Star Alliance Gold members.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (5:00 am to 9:00 pm), mailboxes, VIP lounges, plugs for electric devices, internet kiosks and Wi-Fi access free of charge. A business centre is available on the third floor of Terminal 2, with several meeting and conference rooms.

Food and Drinks

Numerous options in both terminals, including cafés, restaurants, bars, fast food outlets and vending machines.


Duty-free stores in the Departures area of both terminals, souvenirs, press, apparel, accessories, jewellery, cosmetics, books, sweets, handicrafts, local goods, toys, electronics.


Porter services around the clock (e-mail: [email protected]). Secure wrapping and left luggage service in the Arrivals Hall of Terminal 2, from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm (Tel +358 981 711 968). Lost and found office inside Terminal 1, Mondays through Fridays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (Tel +358 6004 1006; online form).
