Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, opened in 1980, is the largest in Bangladesh. It operates domestic and international flights to destinations in Asia, the Middle East, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Number of Terminals - Terminals 1 (international arrivals) and 2 (international departures), located within the same building, and Domestic Terminal, to the left of the other two. Open 24 hours a day.

Annual passenger traffic: 6.3 million passengers went through it during 2019.

The airport is located in the town of Kurmitola, 20 km (13 miles) north of Dhaka.

International Parking - Three-level facility with covered spaces adjacent to the north end of the main building.
Domestic Parking - Open air area in front of the Domestic Terminal.
