The airport is located in the city of Kurmitola, 20 km (13 miles) to the north of Dhaka.
Bus - There is a bus stop on the main highway (Airport Road), 5 minutes away from the terminals. Buses have signs in Bengali only and are usually very crowded.
Taxi - A trip to the city takes around 45 minutes. There are pre-paid booths in the Arrivals area. Fares should always be agreed upon before starting the journey. Autorickshaws are not allowed to pick up passengers at the airport; instead, they can be picked up on the Airport Road. They are the cheapest way to cover long distances.
Europcar (Tel +880 2883 7694) has a car rental counter inside the terminal. It operates from 7:00 am to 0:00 am.
There are short- and long-term options, in addition to a passenger pick-up and drop-off zone in front of the Arrivals area, with a 3-minute time limit. Rates

Domestic Parking - Outdoor lot opposite the Domestic Terminal.
Wheelchairs are available upon request. You are advised to contact your airline with any special requirements prior to departure. There are also lifts and disabled toilets.
