Covid-19: Regulations for travel to Benin

Travelers will undergo both the rapid TDR test and the PCR test upon arrival and self-quarantine is required until the test results are received. Passengers will be required to leave their passports with the Immigration Police for up to 72 hours until the test results are received. Those staying in Benin for more than 15 days must undergo a third test, quarantine is not required unless a positive result is confirmed. Tests must be booked and paid for prior to departure and airlines may request reserved test tests for boarding. The test costs between 25,000 CFA ($ 45 USD) and 50,000 CFA ($ 90 USD) and can be booked at

Departing travelers who have been in Benin for more than 3 days must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result, taken within 72 hours, to be allowed re-entry to Cotonou Cadjehoun Airport.
