Faleolo International Airport (APW), opened on 5 August 1984 and located on the island of Upolu, is the main gateway to Samoa. This terminal connects the archipelago with major regional and international hubs, offering direct flights to destinations such as Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, Nadi and Honolulu, as well as regular services to Pago Pago in American Samoa.

The airport has a single, modern passenger terminal, open 24 hours a day, which centralises all domestic and international operations. The building underwent a comprehensive refurbishment completed in recent years, improving check-in, security and boarding areas.

General Parking

The airport has three distinct parking areas located just a few metres from the terminal entrance doors. Public parking operates on a pay-per-entry or duration basis, with 15 minutes free of charge. Access is managed through a control point where the applicable fee set by the airport authority is paid. The area is fully lit and monitored to ensure vehicle security.

Priority Spaces

Dedicated spaces are available for drivers with disabilities or reduced mobility. These bays are clearly marked and located in the closest positions to pedestrian access points, ensuring quick and safe access to the check-in hall and arrivals area.

Accessible toilets: Most restrooms in public and boarding areas include spacious cubicles with grab rails, as well as sinks, mirrors and dispensers positioned at an accessible height for wheelchair users.
