Viru Viru International Airport, opened in 1983, serves the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra and is the main air terminal in Bolivia. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in South America, Panama, the United States and Spain.

Facilities and services include ramps and adapted toilets, and assistance to board and disembark from the airplane.
