Ulaanbaatar airport (UBN)

Chinggis Khaan International Airport, also known as the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport and opened on 4 July 2021, is the most important in Mongolia, being the country's only international airport. In addition to domestic flights, it operates routes to international destinations in the Far East and some locations in Europe.

 Location

The airport is located in the Khöshig Valley of Sergelen, Töv Province, 52 km (32.3 miles) south of the city of Ulaanbaatar.

Car rental agencies

Although there are no car rental offices inside the airport, you can request a vehicle from Sixt (Tel +976 8600 7259) 24 hours a day through the 'Meet & Greet' service. A company representative will be waiting for you in the Arrivals Hall with a sign bearing your name.
