Ivato International Airport, opened on March 4, 1931, is the most important in Madagascar and serves its capital, Antananarivo. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Africa and Europe.

Bus - There are shared minibuses (taxi-brousse), white in color, that leave from outside the airport entrance when full. Destinations and prices are displayed at the front of the vehicle.

Taxi - Vehicles available outside the Arrivals Hall. It is recommended to agree on a price with the driver before the journey. The trip to the city centre takes 30 minutes.
