Salzburg Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Airport, opened on August 16, 1926, is one of the busiest in the country and operates with the main destinations in Europe, Egypt and Israel.

The airport has a bank (Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Sunday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm), ATMs, conference rooms and Wi-Fi access free of charge. The Business Lounge, in the Departures Hall of Terminal 1, near gate 9, opens from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm (until 7:00 pm on Saturdays) and provides computers, TV, Wi-Fi, drinks, food, newspapers and magazines (access: with Priority Pass, Lounge Club or Diners Club membership, or by paying at the door - €36.00).
Food and Drinks- Restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and bars in Terminal 1. In Terminal 2 there is a fast-food outlet.
Shopping- Duty-free store in the Departures area. In the Arrivals Hall there are shops selling gifts, accessories, press, books, tobacco, electronics.

Bus - OBUS (Tel +43 800 660 660) operates several services from the airport to Salzburg and other locations. Line 2 travels to the main railway station every 10-20 minutes from 6:00 am to 11:45 pm, with a journey time of 23 min. It also stops at Hans Schmid Platz, Aiglhof, Kongresshaus, Mirabellplatz and Volksschule Gnigl. Line 10 leaves every 10 min. from 6:00 am to 1:00 am for Pressezentrum, Hanusch Platz, Rathaus, Volksgarten, Gnigl S-Bahn and Sam Lankessiedlung, via the city centre (15 min. travel). Tickets have a cost of €2.50.
Line 180 from Postbus (Tel +43 51717) runs to Salzburg central station, Wals, Grossgmain and Bad Reichenhall, while route 260 heads to downtown Salzburg, Bad Reichenhall, Unken, Lofer, St. Martin, Weissbach, Saalfelden, Maishofen and Zell am See.
From Salzburg central station depart numerous buses to different locations in the region, such as St. Johann, Kitzbühel, Berchtesgaden, Reit im Winkl, Ruhpolding and Inzell.

Train - Salzburg central station is found 15-20 minutes away from the airport on bus. Trains to many tourist destinations depart from there, such as Zell am See, St. Johann, Altenmarkt, Radstadt, Bad Gastein, Kitzbühel and Schladming. More information: Tel +43 51717.
Taxi - Travel time to the city centre is 15-20 minutes and ranks are located in front of the terminals. P1, P2 - Short-term parking opposite the terminals.
P3, P7 - Outdoor areas for long stays, 5 minutes away from the main building.
P4 Garage - Multi-storey facility with covered spaces and charging stations for electric vehicles, connected through a roofed walkway.
Passengers requiring special assistance should contact their airline in advance and get to the airport 90 minutes before the flight departure for domestic travels and 2 hours prior for international flights. There are designated parking spaces and accessible toilets. Line 2 buses are equipped for wheelchair transportation free of charge.
