Piarco International Airport, opened on January 8, 1931, is the busiest in Trinidad and Tobago. It receives flights from the entire Caribbean, the United States, Canada, Panama and some destinations in South America and Europe.

Number of Terminals - 2 - South Terminal (for general aviation) and North Terminal (main passenger terminal). Open 24 hours a day and located within walking distance of each other.

The airport is located in the city of Piarco, 20 km (12.4 miles) to the southeast of Port of Spain.

Bus - Services from PTSC (Tel +868 623 2341) to the city that depart from the Arrivals area. They operate every 15 minutes from Monday to Friday between 6:30 am and 8:15 pm and journey time is around 30 min.
