Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.
Spending the night at the airport
Khartoum airport is open around the clock. However, it does not have comfortable facilities and it is not recommended to spend the night inside the enclosure, so it is best to have a plan B in case you have an early flight or if your flight is delayed.
Where to rest: The terminal only has uncomfortable chairs where you can sit, except for a few reclinable sits by the boarding gates. On the other hand, there is a VIP lounge with more amenities open 24 hours a day. The best option is to check into a hotel. The airport is located in the middle of the city, and therefore there are many alternatives in the vicinity.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices inside the enclosure.
Eating and drinking: Options are limited, but there are vending machines inside the terminal.
Some of the accommodations situated in the surroundings are:
Jori Vil Hotel (2.2 km/1.4 miles)
Kanon Hotel (2.4 km/1.5 miles)
Regency Hotel (2.9 km/1.8 miles)
Acropole Hotel (2.9 km/1.8 miles)
Bougainvilla (3.2 km/2 miles)
