The airport is located 8 km (5 miles) northeast from the city of St. John's.

The airport has a bank (Sunday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturday from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm), currency exchange bureau (Mondays through Fridays from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, weekends from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm), ATMs, post office and Wi-Fi access free of charge in the Departures area. Bus - There are local services that travel to St. John's, but stops are located along Sir George Walter Avenue, far from the terminal.
