Berlin-Tegel Otto Lilienthal Airport, opened on November 5, 1948, is one of the busiest in Germany. It operates with the main destinations in Europe and the United States and some flights to the Middle East, the Caribbean, Asia and Northern Africa. As it is very close to the city centre, it is planned to be replaced in 2021 by the Berlin-Brandenburg Airport.

There are reserved parking spaces, lifts, ramps, adapted toilets and telephones.
