Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
Berlin Tegel airport's Terminal E is the only one that stays open at night, so the security staff will lead you there if you choose to spend the night inside the enclosure. Facilities are old and not very comfortable, so you must be ready for a hard night.
Where to rest: Seats are scarce throughout the enclosure, and even more so in the area where you will have to spend the night, so it is best to have a sleeping bag and lay on the floor. There are VIP lounges in terminals A and C with more amenities, but these are closed at night. During the day there are sleeping cabins inside Terminal B. Remember that many hotels in the vicinity operate shuttle services to and from the airport.
Baggage: Luggage storage offices on the ground floor of Terminal A, from 5:00 am to 10:30 pm.
Eating and drinking: Eateries are generally open from 4:00 am until the last flight of the day.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
Other services available around the clock: Baby changing facilities.
On the third level of Terminal B there are individual cabins from Napcabs. On the other hand, there are numerous alternatives in the surroundings and in the city centre.
