Bus - Different public services are available to the city, departing from the station located in car park E, accessed through the ATS train. There are also regional buses that leave from level 1 of the main parking lot.
On the other hand, Go Airport Express (Tel +1 888 284 3826) provides door-to-door services to and from the airport and most city and suburban neighborhoods, leaving every 10-15 minutes from outside the baggage reclaim area of each terminal.

Train - CTA's Blue Line (Tel +1 312 836 7000) offers 24-hour services from the station situated on the lower level of Terminal 2, with a fare of USD5.00. It runs to Forest Park through downtown Chicago (journey time: 45 minutes). Stops include Rosemont, Cumberland, Harlem, Jefferson Park, Montrose, Irving Park, Addison, Belmont, Logan Square, Damen, Monroe, Racine, Pulaski, Cicero, Austin and Oak Park.
From the transfer station, adjacent to parking lot E, you can board trains from Metra North Central (Tel +1 312 322 6777) to Union Station (35 min.; USD6.25) and the central-northern suburbs, such as Rosemont, Vernon Hills, Mundelien, Round Lake Beach and Antioch.

Taxi - Metered cabs on the lower level of every terminal, outside the baggage recollection area. Fares to downtown Chicago are around USD30.00-40.00 and the trip takes 30-45 minutes. There are also shared services with a fixed fare of USD24.00. While there are issues that seem more than obvious, it is always advisable to take into account when moving from or to the airport, and especially if you go on some public transport.
 
 1- To the airport - It is convenient to go out with a little more anticipation than you would commonly suggest. If you choose a taxi or a private car service, always keep in mind peak transit times, demonstrations, strikes or events that may take more or less the trip to the airport from where you are. It is always good to be informed about what happens in the place where you find yourself.
If you have a shared transfer service, please have a contact Tel in case of any delay on the part of the company. In these cases, a scheduled collection schedule is already in tenter.
If you are using public transport (bus, train), have the schedules (weekends and holidays usually have fewer frequencies), if you have to transfer and also how to board (if you need a card or boarding pass or paying at the moment to the driver or rider). These are details that seem obvious, but it is advisable to know not to have surprises and suffer a delay that could bring complications.
If you rent a car to get to the airport check well, where you must leave the vehicles. In some airports, there is an exclusive parking lot for rental cars.
 
 2 -From the airport- here is a little less stressful as you don't have the pressure to miss the flight.
