Memphis International Airport, opened on June 14, 1929, is one of the busiest in the state of Tennessee, together with Nashville Airport. It operates with domestic destinations and international flights to Canada.

The airport has ATMs, bank (Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm), mailbox, plugs for electronic devices, public telephones and Wi-Fi access free of charge. The Delta Sky Club lounge is situated in the hallway between concourses B and C and opens from Sunday to Friday between 5:00 am and 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm; it offers Wi-Fi, plugs for electric devices, reading material, meals, bar (accessible with Delta Sky Club membership, first or business class passengers from Delta Air Lines and SkyTeam airlines, SkyTeam Elite Plus members, or by paying at the door - USD59.00).
Food and Drinks- There are several restaurants, coffee shops, bars and fast food outlets, mainly in concourse B.

Bus - Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) (Tel +1 901 274 6282) operates line 64 headed for downtown Memphis (journey time: 20 minutes). It leaves every hour from Monday to Friday between 6:17 am and 10:42 pm, Saturdays from 7:02 am to 9:02 pm and Sunday from 7:02 am to 7:02 pm. Stops include Airways Transit Center, FedEx Hub and American Way Transit Center. Buses can be boarded in front of concourse C, on the baggage reclaim level, and tickets cost USD1.75.
There are also door-to-door minibus services inside and around the Memphis area, which must be booked in advance. Taxi - Vehicles available outside the luggage recollection area of concourse B from 6:00 am until one hour after the last arriving flight. The trip to the city centre takes 15-20 minutes.

Economy Parking - 7-storey facility, with charging stations for electric vehicles and access to the terminal via a covered hall with moving walkways.
Parking Garage - Located opposite the terminal, with short-term spaces on the ground floor and long-term bays on levels 2 and 3.
Facilities include ramps, lifts, adapted restrooms and telephones, designated parking spaces close to the terminals and relief areas for service animals. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should inform their airline about their needs at the moment of their booking.
