La Chinita International Airport, opened on November 16, 1969, serves the urban area of Maracaibo and is one of the busiest in the country. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Panama and Colombia.

Food and Drinks- Both terminals have restaurants, cafés, confectioneries, ice-cream stores, bars, fast-food outlets and vending machines.
Shopping- Inside the enclosure, you can find duty-free shops, bookstores, clothing and accessories, handicrafts, toys, jewellery, flowers, sweets.
Baggage- Porters and luggage wrapping in the central hall. Enquiries about missing baggage should be made at the desk of the appropriate airline.

Bus - Line 17 connects the airport with Altos de La Vanega Station Mondays through Fridays between 7:15 am and 6:00 pm. From there, you can board metro line 1 to the city centre.
Taxi - At the exit from the airport you can find cabs provided by Unión de Conductores Aeropuertos (Tel +58 416 466 7076). Journey time to the city centre is around 30 minutes.
The enclosure offers a parking area divided into 5 uncovered and unfenced zones, with spaces for short- and long-term stays.
