Layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
Being open 24 hours a day, it is possible to stay during the night inside the airport if you are waiting for a connecting flight or have a flight early in the morning. Have a sleeping mask ready, as the place is very bright.
Where to rest: Although there are hotels in the vicinity, not all passengers are willing to pay to sleep for only a couple of hours. This is not a very comfortable airport for spending the night, as there are few seats that do not have armrests. Some of the restaurants and fast food stands have more comfortable benches. Another option are the seats located next to gates B, D, E and H. Since the floor will probably be your sleeping spot, it is convenient to have a blanket or sleeping bag handy. The VIP lounges usually have more amenities, and one of them is even open 24 hours a day, although the maximum stay is 3 hours.
Baggage: The luggage storage in Terminal 3 closes at 11:30 pm and reopens at 6:30 am, so you will have to keep your bags throughout the night.
Eating and drinking: There are some alternatives open during the night in Terminal 3. In addition, there are vending machines in all terminals.
Restrooms: Showers only inside the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: The airport provides a free and unlimited service.
Other services open around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities.
HelloSky is located in front of the terminals, while the Hilton Rome Airport is connected through a covered walkway. In addition, you can find several options nearby, and many accommodations have shuttle services to and from the enclosure.
