El Palomar Airport, opened on July 20, 1910, is an aerodrome of military origin, but since the end of the year 2017, it was transformed into a commercial airport thanks to the private initiative of the low cost carrier Flybondi for the concession of the use of the terminal as their base of operations. In this way, it became the third commercial airport in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires. It operates with flights to several parts of the country and some destinations in neighboring countries.

The airport is located in the city of El Palomar (Morón suburban area), 18 km (11 miles) to the west of the city of Buenos Aires.
There are no car rental agencies inside the terminal. For this reason, booking is advance is recommended.

On Aviador B. Matienzo Street, in front of the terminal building, there is the parking area of the enclosure, with outdoor, public and rated spaces. At the moment, only car park A is available.
For those passengers requiring special assistance at the airport, it is recommended to arrange the proper services with their airline at least 48 hours in advance. Inside the car park there are exclusive spaces for people with reduced mobility.
