Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport or Puerto Vallarta International Airport, opened on November 11, 1954, serves most of the state of Jalisco and is one of the busiest in Mexico, being one of the main tourist spots in the country. Bus - The public service stops at the airport every 30 minutes and travels to the city centre, Marina Vallarta, Playa de los Muertos, Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerías and Los Arcos. There are also private buses to the cities of Manzanillo, Mazatlán and Guadalajara. Tickets can be purchased at the official taxi stand.
Taxi - There is a desk for cab reservation, operating around the clock, outside the Arrivals Hall. Prices vary depending on the destination area and the type of service you hire (private or shared). The trip to the city centre takes around 15 minutes.
The car park is located opposite the terminal building, after the bus parking area. It operates 24 hours a day and has outdoor and covered spaces, and a pre-payment system via ATMs inside the terminal. Rates
