La Chinita International Airport, opened on November 16, 1969, serves the urban area of Maracaibo and is one of the busiest in the country. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in the United States, Panama and some Caribbean islands.

Baggage- Porters and luggage wrapping in the central hall. Enquiries about lost property should be made at the desk of the appropriate airline.

Taxi - At the exit from the airport you can find cabs provided by Unión de Conductores Aeropuertos (Tel +58 416 466 7076). Journey time to the city centre is around 30 minutes.
The enclosure offers a parking area divided in 5 uncovered and unfenced zones, with spaces for short- and long-term stays.
