Coronel FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta International Airport is one of the main airports in Peru and the most important in the Amazon area of the country. It basically operates with domestic flights.

The airport is located 7 km (4.5 miles) to the southwest of Iquitos city centre.

Car rental search

The airport has ATMs and free Wi-Fi access. The Caral VIP Lounge is located to the left of the boarding area and opens from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm; the maximum stay is 4 hours and it offers computers, refreshments, drinks, TV, air conditioning, newspapers and magazines, Wi-Fi (accessible with Priority Pass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - USD25.00).

Food and Drinks- There are two cafés inside the terminal. Altomayo is available 24 hours a day.
Shopping- Souvenirs, jewellery, bookstores.
Baggage- In case of missing luggage, contact the offices of the corresponding airline or the airport's information counter.
Other Services-

 

Taxi - At the exit from the Arrivals Hall there are regular cabs and autorickshaws. It is advised to only use registered vehicles, whose drivers are uniformed and have identification. The trip to the city centre takes 30 minutes.

 

The enclosure has an outdoor parking lot situated opposite the main building.

 

Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should inform their airline about their needs prior to their arrival.
