Mariscal Lamar International Airport, opened on April 23, 1941, serves the city of Cuenca and is one of the busiest in Ecuador. It operates with domestic flights to Guayaquil and Quito.

There are no hotels inside the enclosure, but due to its proximity to the city centre, there are several options nearby. The airport has banks, ATMs, post office, ballroom, business center and free Wi-Fi access. The Sala VIP Corpac lounge is located on the second floor and is accessed through dedicated security checks; it opens from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm and offers computers, snacks, newspapers and magazines, Wi-Fi, TV, drinks, telephones, fax (access with Priority Pass, DragonPass or Diners Club membership).

Taxi - Ranks are located at the exit from the passenger terminal. A trip to the city centre takes approximately 15 minutes.
The enclosure has a parking area opposite the terminal building with covered and outdoor spaces.
Facilities are basic, including access ramps and adapted toilets. Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline about their needs in advance.
