San Andres airport (ADZ)

Gustavo Rojas Pinilla International Airport is an important air terminal in Colombia due to its tourist movement. It connects the island of San Andrés with several domestic destinations and with some countries in Central America.

- 1 - Open 24 hours a day.
Annual passenger traffic: Around 1.5 million passengers went through it in 2014.

The airport is located within the urban area, 1 km (0.6 miles) northwest from downtown San Andrés.

Taxi - Certified vehicles available outside the airport. Fares increase after midnight. The trip to the city centre takes around 5 minutes.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange service, post office and public telephones.

Food and Drinks- A few coffee shops and snack bars are available inside the terminal.
Shopping- There are duty-free stores, souvenirs, handicrafts, apparel, liquor, jewellery, newsagents, tobacconists.
Baggage- Enquiries about missing luggage should be directed to the counter of the appropriate airline.
Other Services- Infirmary, travel agency.

 

In front of the main terminal entrance there are parking spaces, next to the airport's access road.

 

Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should arrange the proper services with their airline or travel agency at the time of their booking. There are escalators, lifts and adapted restrooms.

 

There are no hotels inside the enclosure, but as it is located inside the city, several accommodations are available nearby.
