Manizales airport (MZL)

La Nubia Airport serves the metropolitan area of Manizales and basically operates with domestic flights to Medellín and Bogotá. It is expected to be replaced by the new Aeropuerto Internacional del Café, being built in the city of Palestina.

The airport is located 10 km (6 miles) southeast from the city of Manizales.

Taxi - Ranks are located at the exit from the terminal. Journey time to the city centre is around 20 minutes.




The airport has public telephones and free Wi-Fi access. The Avianca Sala VIP lounge is located next to the Avianca ticket counter and opens Mondays through Saturdays between 6:00 am and 5:30 pm, Sundays from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm; it has newspapers and magazines, fax, refreshments, drinks, telephones (accessible with Priority Pass, United Club or Air Canada Maple Leaf Club membership, executive class passengers from Avianca and Avianca LifeMiles Gold or Diamond, first or business class passengers from Star Alliance and Star Alliance Gold airlines, or by paying at the door (US$25.00).
